Ping Pong

My new interest - ping pong have taken me to new heights and realization. There was building-88 cup for ping pong organized and I was runner up in the tournament with my partners - Anil and Debarghya. Playing in the tournament was nothing new to me, but playing in the finals knowing that Bill Gates himself is going to give me a tropy is definitely pressurizing. I am still improving my reflexes and finding Cool in myself for the game while the tournament prize distribution found a Poet in me. I wanted to do an honour for Mr. Bill G and wanted to let him know about my feeling for the company and the respect I have in heart for this personality. I thought a lot and with in minutes there was a poem on my Word ready for the printer. So I did and presented to one the richest man in the world. Took several pix and autograph on my copy.

Here is the poem:
I admired since school days, Microsoft and Bill Gates
Since the day I played Solitaire and was learning Logical Gates

He is a great man, said all my mates.
And said many a times how he changed the fates.

He started with a Keyboard, CPU and then came a mouse.
And soon he declares, there will be a PC in every house.

I was in love with Computers, which is to say Windows.
The Seats were empty where there were Mac in the rows.

He made his millions; wait, actually 100s of Millions
All he cares now, is to give back Billions

He founded the Giant software company I work in, called Microsoft
But it is his philanthropy that makes me walk with my head held aloft.

Such an achievement, I dont know you did it how.
All Jaydeep can do is shake your hands and give you a BOW.

This was a day I will cherrish for a long time and boost my morale. Not only me, but my family and freinds will participate with me and help me finding new journeys in the months to come.

New Job

So, I left Microsoft Game Studios and joined Live Search Team from 5th Nov. Its been two weeks and I already had two Parties and several freinds in the new team. Also, considering the number of Desis we needed a DL (Indians in Live Search). As the name sounds, the team also is pretty lively, with lots of activities such as tech talk, sporting events going around. Table tennis is like a tradition and most people play it around here and myself have quite been good at it now.

... may be some day people will say "lets Laive it" and Live will have another meaning in the dictionary as a verb.
